The Crystal Coast Cancer Rehab 5k & 1mi as well as the "Bougie Brunch" Fundraisers took place on Saturday, October 15th, 2022 in historic Downtown Beaufort. The race started on a foggy Front Street by John Newton Park located by the Dockhouse. The race hosted 100 participants on race morning plus cancer survivors enrolled in the program.
Bougie Brunch followed after at 10:00am at the Beaufort Historic Site with champagne, brunch foods, and 2 performances by Tatianna courtesy of Crystal Coast Proud. A raffle was also held at brunch along with a commemorative memory wall for survivors and family to write on.
With the help of sponsorships from local businesses, registrants, brunch attendees, and the raffle both events brought in over 8,000.00 to benefit the cancer rehab program and survivors.
